Arrival by rail / public transport: take the local trains to Halberstadt and then take bus 16 or 210 to Ströbeck. » www.hvb-harz.de » bus 210 » bus 16 Arrival by car: A) take the B6n until you reach the Wernigerode Zentrum / Derenburg exit. Once in Derenburg, turn left before you get to the bridge and head for Ströbeck. B) turn off the B79 in Aspenstedt or between Aspenstedt and Halberstadt.

On 14. November 2019 there was a fire in our chess museum. The collection was largely saved. However, due to the soot damage, it has to undergo extensive restoration measures. The duration of the reconstruction of the building is currently not foreseeable. The chess museum is therefore closed to visitors until further notice. Admission

Adults 3 Euro Schoolchildren 6-18 years 1 Euro Children up to 6 years no charge Guided Tours: € 15 per group (alongside the entrance fee) This means that groups of 20 people or more must be split so that you can enjoy your tour properly. Each tour, therefore, costs € 15.
